[120] Who moved my cheese?

I didn't read the book when my Dad suggested so in 2009, and I don't plan on reading it (but who's to say I won't eventually pick it up?).

I may have a late start on my new years resolutions. One craft a week is on hold. I'll explain in my next post.

As I look around my apartment, I have come to the realization that I have been so blessed to acquire the things I own. Over the last two years my owl collection has skyrocketed. I don't even want to attempt to count! To those who have gifted me with such items, I can't thank you enough. There have been quite a number of people who think of me at the sight of an owl, whether it's a real animal or a knickknack they've seen in passing. It's the thought that counts. :]

[119] "So this is the new year..."

"...and I don't feel any different."
How did I ring in the new year? Two bottles of George Killian's Irish Red and a very big cup of coffee. I was determined to make it to midnight without falling asleep.

Stepped outside for a bit and took this photo of my apartment building. The moon was beautiful, as always, and Orion was looking mighty nice (my iPod doesn't have the power to capture stars).

I didn't come up with any resolutions for this year. I had considered a few:
  • Wear a dress 1-2 times a month
  • Wear heels 2-3 times a month
  • Complete 1 craft project every week.
Those are just a few things I could think of. As far as crafts go, I have a few sewing projects I want to tackle. My mother recently gave me her old Singer sewing machine (which happens to be older than I am), but I have never been able to use it properly. Learning how to use it is one thing on my to-do list for this year.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I might try to assemble a recipe book of my favorite veg-friendly recipes. That sure sounds fun. :]

Happy New Year y'all!
